Kermit Kelly

Kermit Kelly is a lifelong Chicago resident. Born in 1955, and painting
since the 6th grade, Kermit is the winner of numerous awards and collected
internationally. Kermit studied at The Art Institute and is a graduate of
Colorado Mountain College.
When asked about his work Kermit states: "My art celebrates the icons of our
generation, delights in the abstraction of exploding colors and preserves a moment
in time. I make art you want to own." Working with a wide variety of materials
ranging from Plexiglas to Wood, Kermit considers himself to be an architect of our
times. A true reflection of what is happening that is worth celebrating.
